GRACED IN GREEN – 100% BRITISH WOOL ACCESSORIES

£10.00£21.50

Description

For 3 years I have watched my customers rummage through mountains of knitted accessories attempting to find co-ordinated sets.  And I’ve finally listened.

With my switch to gorgeously warm and fluffy natural wool products, I set about creating some co-ordinated colours.

The lovely dappled tweed effect is also West Yorkshire Spinners, this time in The Croft Aran in the colourway Mossbank. Produced in association with Jamieson & Smith of Shetland and using 100% British Shetland fleece, the yarn has a soft, silky handle, as well as plenty of warmth and strength.

The solid green is a one-off hand-dyed special, using luxurious St John’s Baby Wool DK in apple green as the base, and overglazed to oomph up the green tones. Amazingly thick and soft, and generously sized wristwarmers.

I don’t carry a huge amount of stock, but made to order can usually be turned around in just a few days (depending on when I’m next placing a woolly supplies order), so don’t be frightened of backorder – I’ll be in touch very quickly.

If you want or a loved one need to be graced in green, choose from:-

  • A double thickness, yet still lightweight and stretchy, HAT, and you can opt for one of my handmade luxury faux fur pom poms to top it.
  • A twisted head/neckwarmer – Double thickness again, with a lovely turban twist detail.  This works equally well as a head and earwarmer, especially if you wear your hair up or in a pony tail, as it does a neckwarmer.  Why not buy a pair to guarantee drafts are a thing of the past
  • A plain head/neckwarmer – Keep it simple – no twist on this one, but still doubled, and still doing an excellent job to keep your head, ears or neck warm
  • Solid colour  wristwarmers, featuring ribbing on the cuff and fingers – and made with an extra long finger section so you can roll them out for extra warmth, or roll them down for extra dexterity. Single thickness, but knitted to a nice taut tension on my vintage circular sock machine (yes, you can even do thumbs on the machine with a little dextrous gymnastics), this DK is about as thick a wool as the machine can be coaxed to cope with. Plenty of stretch to fit most.
  • Dappled tweed wristwarmers in Aran – Double thickness and a much looser tension to allow for extra stretch, and a delicate lattice-style seam, and knitted in thumb

Watch out for the 10% discount if you add a set of 3 or more to your basket
