Berry Blaze – Handmade Colourful Wristwarmers
Keep your hands beautifully warm while leaving your fingers free with these colourful and wonderfully practical handmade wristwarmers.
Berry Blaze is a beautifully vibrant mix of berry pinks and purples, brought to life with flashes of fiery orange and deep blue. The main body is made from wonderfully colourful Opal yarn, while a contrasting band of rich Blackcurrant Bomb from West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 Ply around the finger area adds an extra touch of deep berry colour.
Each pair is lovingly made on my beautiful vintage circular sock machine, an Imperia dating from around 1928, affectionately known as Bessie. The finely knitted fabric has plenty of stretch for a comfortable fit, while the vintage machine gives every pair a special connection to traditional craftsmanship.
Designed with warmth and comfort in mind, these wristwarmers feature a double-thickness cuff and finger area, providing extra warmth and protection where you need it most. The fingerless design keeps your hands cosy while allowing you to use your phone, type, drive, craft, walk the dog, or simply get on with your day without having to take them off.
The Opal yarn creates a wonderfully soft and comfortable fabric, while the contrasting Blackcurrant Bomb is made from West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 Ply, combining soft and strong Bluefaced Leicester wool with nylon for excellent durability.
