Winter Tides combines deep ocean blue and soft slate grey with pale silvery tones and creamy white, creating a beautifully distinctive design inspired by wintry seas and rolling waves. The colour pattern creates its own distinctive stripes and details, making every pair beautifully individual.
Each pair is lovingly made on my beautiful vintage circular sock machine, an Imperia dating from around 1928, affectionately known as Bessie. The finely knitted fabric has plenty of stretch for a comfortable fit, while the vintage machine gives every pair a special connection to traditional craftsmanship.
