Ravine<\/strong> is a beautifully deep, atmospheric blue-grey, made using the wonderful West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece Bluefaced Leicester DK<\/strong>, a premium British wool yarn. Bluefaced Leicester wool is renowned for combining exceptional softness with impressive strength, creating wristwarmers that are wonderfully comfortable to wear while also being beautifully hard-wearing.<\/p>\n

Each pair is lovingly made on my beautiful vintage circular sock machine, an Imperia dating from around 1928<\/strong>, affectionately known as Bessie<\/strong>. Using a vintage machine gives each pair a special connection to traditional craftsmanship while creating a beautifully comfortable, finely knitted fabric with plenty of stretch for a comfortable fit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
