Produced in association with Jamieson &amp; Smith of Shetland and using 100% British Shetland fleece, the yarn has a soft, silky handle, as well as plenty of warmth and strength.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to wrap yourself or a loved one in red, stock is now fairly limited in this colourway, but you can choose from:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A plain head\/neckwarmer &#8211; Keep it simple &#8211; no twist on this one, but still doubled, and still doing an excellent job to keep your head, ears or neck warm<\/li>\n<li>Solid colour\u00a0 wristwarmers, featuring ribbing on the cuff and fingers &#8211; and made with an extra long finger section so you can roll them out for extra warmth, or roll them down for extra dexterity. Single thickness, but knitted to a nice taut tension on my vintage circular sock machine (yes, you can even do thumbs on the machine with a little dextrous gymnastics), this DK is about as thick a wool as the machine can be coaxed to cope with.
