Meet Bessie, my vintage Circular Sock Machine\u2014a gorgeous Imperia from around 1929, crafted from solid chrome and cast iron. Knitting socks on this beauty is truly an art, and after plenty of practice (and an overflowing sock drawer!), I\u2019m thrilled to share them with you.<\/p>\n
And how adorable are these little anklets? Made from a premium blend of 75% Superwash wool, 25% nylon, and added lycra, they\u2019re durable, incredibly comfortable, and wonderfully stretchy. Designed with a short ribbed cuff and a deeper heel for a snug fit, these socks will keep you cosy on cool mornings yet breathable on warmer days.<\/p>\n
Thanks to their incredible S-T-R-E-T-C-H from the lycra, they’ll comfortably fit a size 4, but will also stretch to a 5 or 6. With every wash, they\u2019ll soften slightly with minimal shrinkage\u2014stretching right back to shape as you wear them. That\u2019s the magic of knitted socks!<\/p>\n
Machine washable at 30\u00b0C (I prefer the wool setting for mine), they\u2019re made to last.<\/p>\n
