This captivating Aran wool from West Yorkshire Spinners is inspired by the landscape, culture and rich heritage of the Shetland Islands. Produced in association with Jamieson & Smith of Shetland and using 100% British Shetland fleece, the yarn has a soft, silky handle, as well as plenty of warmth and strength for garments, accessories and more. As with all ‘proper’ wool, this gets softer with each successive wash.
Shown here in the tranquil ‘Lunna’ colourway, in shades of grey, cream and white.
The hat is double layered with a roll up brim, so there’s 4 layers of super soft, super warmth covering your ears. Bring on those minus temperatures.
Handwash or gentle machine wash at 30° but remove that pom pom first! Do not spin. Do not tumble dry. Gently pull back into shape and dry flat.
